Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that one of my paternal aunts prepared food for the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). She said that she wished for him to come to her house and eat. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to her house and saw that there was a mat laid out. He ordered that the mat be swept and sprinkled with water. When it was cleaned, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed prayer on it, and we also performed prayer on it.
