Hadith 40634
٤٠٦٣٤ - حدثنا يحيى بن آدم قال: حدثني أبو بكر عن جحش بن زياد الضبي قال: سمعت الأحنف بن قيس يقول: لما ظهر عليٌّ على (أهل البصرة) (١) أرسل إلى عائشة: ارجعي إلى المدينة وإلى بيتك، قال: فأبت، قال: فأعاد إليها الرسول: واللَّه لترجعن أو لأبعثن إليك نسوة من بكر بن وائل (معهن) (٢) شفار حداد يأخذنك بها، فلما رأت ذلك خرجت (٣).
Ahnaf bin Qais narrates that when Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) came to the people of Basra, he sent a message to Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that you should return to your home in Medina. But Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) refused. Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) then sent his messenger again, saying, "By Allah, you must return, otherwise I will send against you such women from Bakr bin Wa'il who have sharp knives, and they will attack you with them." When Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) saw this, she departed.
