Hadith 40593
٤٠٥٩٣ - حدثنا عبدة بن سليمان عن جويبر عن الضحاك أن عليًا لما هزم طلحة وأصحابه أمر مناديه: أن لا (يقتل) (١) مقبل، ولا مدبر، (ولا) (٢) يفتح ⦗٤٩٠⦘ باب، ولا يستحل فرج ولا مال (٣).
It is narrated from Hazrat Dahhak that when Talha and his companions were defeated, Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) ordered his announcer to proclaim that from now on, neither those coming from the front nor those turning their backs to leave should be killed, nor should any door be opened, nor is it permissible to take anyone as a slave, nor is any wealth permissible.
