Hadith 40587
٤٠٥٨٧ - حدثنا عبدة بن سليمان عن الأعمش عن (شمر) (١) بن عطية عن عبد اللَّه بن زياد قال: قال عمار بن ياسر: إن (أمنا) (٢) سارت مسيرنا هذا، وإنها واللَّه زوجة محمد ﷺ (٣) في الدنيا والآخرة، ولكن اللَّه ابتلانا (بها) (٤) ليعلم (إياه) (٥) نطيع (أم) (٦) إياها (٧).
It is narrated from Abdullah bin Ziyad that Ammar bin Yasir said: Our mother (Hazrat Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her) walked on this path of ours, and indeed, in this world and the Hereafter, she is the honorable wife of Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), but Allah Almighty tested us through her so that Allah may know whether we obey Him or Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her).
