ما ذكر في عثمان ﵁On the Mention of Uthman (رضی اللہ عنہ)
Hadith 40466
٤٠٤٦٦ - حدثنا عبد اللَّه بن إدريس عن ليث عن مجاهد وطاوس عن ابن عباس قال: قال علي: [ما (قتلت) (١) -يعني عثمان- ولا أمرت -ثلاثًا، (ولكني) (٢) غُلبتُ (٣).
It is narrated from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I did not kill (Hazrat Uthman), nor did I order the killing. He said this three times, then said: But I was overpowered.
