Hadith 40447
٤٠٤٤٧ - حدثنا عبد اللَّه بن نمير قال: حدثنا موسى الجهني قال: حدثني عمر ابن قيس الماصر قال: حدثني مجاهد قال: حدثني فلان رجل من أصحاب النبي ⦗٤٠٤⦘ ﷺ (١) أن المهدي لا يخرج حتى تقتل النفس الزكية؛ فإذا قتلت النفس الزكية غضب عليهم من في السماء ومن في الأرض، فأتى الناس المهدي، فزفوه كما تزف العروس إلى زوجها ليلة عرسها، وهو يملأ الأرض قسطا وعدلا وتخرج الأرض نباتها وتمطر السماء مطرها، وتنعم أمتي في ولايته نعمة لم (تنعمها) (٢) قط (٣).
It is narrated from Hazrat Mujahid that he said: One of the companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) told me that the appearance of the Mahdi will not occur until a pure soul is killed. When the pure soul is killed, those in the heavens and those on the earth will become angry with them. Then people will come to Hazrat Mahdi, and he will take them just as a bride is taken to her husband's house on her wedding night. He will fill the earth with justice and fairness, and the earth will bring forth its vegetation, and the sky will send down rain, and my Ummah will be so prosperous during his leadership that it has never been so prosperous before.
