Hadith 40438
٤٠٤٣٨ - حدثنا الفضل بن دكين وأبو داود عن ياسين العجلي عن إبراهيم بن محمد بن الحنفية عن أبيه عن علي عن النبي ﷺ قال: قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "المهدي منا أهل البيت يصلحه اللَّه في ليلة" (١).
It is narrated from Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that he reported from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said: Mahdi will be from among us, that is, from the Ahl al-Bayt. In one night, Allah Almighty will grant him the ability (for leadership and caliphate).
