Hadith 40435
٤٠٤٣٥ - حدثنا ابن عيينة عن عمرو عن أبي معبد عن ابن عباس (قال) (١): لا تمضي الأيام والليالي حتى يلي منا أهل البيت فتى لم تلبسه الفتن ولم يلبسها قال: قلنا: يا (أبا) (٢) (العباس) (٣) تعجز عنها مشيختكم وينالها (شبابكم؟) (٤) قال: هو أمر اللَّه يؤتيه من يشاء (٥).
It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that he said: Days and nights will not pass until a young man from among us, the Ahl al-Bayt, will become a leader, whom trials will not confuse, nor will he confuse the trials. The narrator said: We asked, "O Abu al-Abbas, will your elders be unable to meet him and your youth will find him?" He replied: "That is Allah's command; He grants it to whom He wills."
