Hadith 40428

Hazrat Salamah bin Khail Abi al-Za’raa narrates from Hazrat Abdullah: Dajjal was mentioned in his presence. Hazrat Abdullah said: O people, at the time of his emergence, you will be divided into three groups. One group will follow him, one group will go to the lands of their forefathers where grass grows, and one group will take hold of the banks of the Euphrates. He (Dajjal) will fight them, and they (the people) will fight him, until the believers gather on the western side of Syria. They will send a force towards him, among whom will be a horseman riding a white or piebald horse. All of them will be killed; not a single one of them will return. Salamah said: Abu Sadiq narrated to me from Rabee’ah bin Najid that Hazrat Abdullah said: It will be a white, reddish horse. Then Hazrat Abdullah said: The People of the Book say that the Messiah, Isa son of Maryam, will descend and kill him. Abu al-Za’raa said: I have not heard Hazrat Abdullah narrate any hadith from the People of the Book except this one. Then Hazrat Abdullah said: Then Gog and Magog will emerge; they will strut about the earth and spread corruption in it. Then Hazrat Abdullah recited { وَہُمْ مِنْ کُلِّ حَدَبٍ یَنْسِلُونَ } “and they will come rushing from every high place.” Hazrat Abdullah said: Allah will send a worm upon them, like the worm that is found in the nose of a camel; it will enter their ears and their nostrils, and they will die from it. It was said that the earth will become putrid because of them. Allah will be supplicated, so Allah will send rain upon them, and Allah will send a cold wind, and it will not leave any believer on earth except that it will overturn him. It was said: Then the Hour will be established upon the wicked people. It was said: Then an angel will stand between the earth and the sky holding the trumpet, and he will blow into it. The narrator said: The trumpet is a horn. It was said: None of Allah’s creation in the heavens and the earth will remain except that they will die, except whom Allah wills. Then, as Allah wills, between the two blowings there will be as much time as Allah wills. (The narrator said) Allah will send water from beneath the Throne, like the semen of men. It was said: No offspring of Adam will remain except that something of it (the water) will reach him, so their bodies and their flesh will be revived by this water, just as the earth quickly grows vegetation. Then Hazrat Abdullah recited this verse: Translation: “And Allah is the One Who sends the winds, and they raise the clouds, then We drive them to a dead land, and We revive the earth with it after its death; thus will be the resurrection.” Then it was said: Then an angel will stand between the earth and the sky holding the trumpet, and he will blow into it. Then every soul will go to its body and enter it. It was said: Then they will stand and be alive like one man, and will stand before the Lord of the worlds. Then Allah will appear to the creation in a form and will meet them. So, from the creation, whoever used to worship anything other than Allah, none of them will remain except that thing will be raised for him, and he will follow it. Then He will meet the Jews and say: Whom did you worship? They will say: We worshipped Uzair. Allah will say: Do you desire water? They will say: Yes. (It was said) Allah will show them Hell, and it will appear like a mirage (a mirage is sand that appears as water in the sunlight). Then Hazrat Abdullah recited the verse: Translation: “And on that Day We will bring Hell before the disbelievers.” Then He will meet the Christians and ask: Whom did you worship? They will say: The Messiah (Isa). It was said: Allah will say: Do you desire water? They will say: Yes. Allah will show them Hell, and it will appear as a mirage (that shining sand which appears as water in the sunlight). Then it was said: Then all those who used to worship anything other than Allah will be dealt with in the same way. Then Hazrat Abdullah recited the verse: Translation: “Detain them, for they must be questioned.” Until the group of Muslims comes forward, Allah will ask: Whom did you worship? They will say: We worshipped Allah and did not associate anyone with Him. The narrator says: Allah will say: Did you see Allah...
