Hadith 40419
٤٠٤١٩ - حدثنا معاوية بن هشام قال: حدثنا سفيان عن عيسى السعدي عن رجل كتب إلى أبي البختري يسأله عن مكانه الذي (هو) (١) فيه أيام (الجماجم) (٢)، قال: فكتب إليه أبو البختري: من شاء قال فينا، ولو علمت شيئا أفضل من الذي أنا فيه لأتيته.
Isa Sa'di narrates from the man who asked Abu al-Bakhtari about his residence where he was during the time of Jamajim. Abu al-Bakhtari wrote to him in reply: "Whoever wished, said whatever about us. If I had found a better condition than the one I was in, I would have chosen it."
