Hadith 40409
٤٠٤٠٩ - حدثنا عفان قال: حدثنا حماد بن سلمة عن عطاء بن السائب عن أبيه قال: قال لي عبد اللَّه بن عمرو: ممن أنت؟ قلت: من أهل الكوفة، قال: والذي نفسي في يده لتساقن (منها) (١) إلى أرض العرب لا تملكون قفيزا ولا درهما ثم لا ينجيكم (٢).
It is narrated from Hazrat Saib that Hazrat Abdullah bin Amr said to me, "Which people are you from?" I replied, "From the people of Kufa." He said, "By Him in Whose hand is my soul, surely you will be taken from here to the land of Arabia. You will not possess any measure or dirham, nor will you be granted salvation."
