Hadith 40398
٤٠٣٩٨ - حدثنا جرير عن منصور عن الشعبي قال: قالت عائشة: إذا ظهر أول الآيات (رفعت) (١) الأقلام، وشهدت الأجساد على الأعمال، وحبست الحفظة (٢).
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: When the first of the (major) signs among the signs (of the Day of Judgment) appears, the pens will be lifted, bodies will bear witness to deeds, and the noble scribes (angels) will be stopped from writing.
