Hadith 40388
٤٠٣٨٨ - حدثنا وكيع (عن سفيان) (١) عن منصور عن الشعبي عن عائشة (قالت) (٢): إذا خرجت (٣) الآيات حبست الحفظة، وطرحت الأقلام، وشهدت الأجساد على الأعمال (٤).
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: When the first sign among the signs (of the Day of Judgment) appears, the noble scribes will be stopped, the pens will be thrown away, and the bodies will bear witness to the deeds.
