Hadith 40386
٤٠٣٨٦ - حدثنا وكيع عن ابن أبي ليلى عن عطية عن أبي سعيد: ﴿يَوْمَ يَأْتِي بَعْضُ آيَاتِ رَبِّكَ لَا يَنْفَعُ نَفْسًا إِيمَانُهَا﴾ [الأنعام: ١٥٨]، قال: طلوع الشمس من مغربها (١).
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed that regarding the verse { یَوْمَ یَأْتِی بَعْضُ آیَاتِ رَبِّکَ لاَ یَنْفَعُ نَفْسًا إیمَانُہَا } (On the day when your Lord’s great sign comes, the faith of no person will benefit him who did not believe before), it was said that this refers to the sun rising from the west.
