Hadith 40366
٤٠٣٦٦ - حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن حبيب عن أبي الطفيل قال: قيل لحذيفة: ما ميت الأحياء؟ قال: من لم يعرف المعروف بقلبه، وينكر المنكر بقلبه (١).
It is narrated from Hazrat Hudhaifa (may Allah be pleased with him) that he was asked, "Who among the living are considered dead?" He replied, "The person who does not consider goodness as good in his heart and does not dislike evil in his heart."
