Hadith 40365
٤٠٣٦٥ - (حدثنا) (١) شريك عن شبيب بن (غرقدة) (٢) عن المستظل بن حصين قال: قال علي: يا أهل الكوفة! (لتأمرن) (٣) بالمعروف (و) (٤) لتنهون عن المنكر، ولتجدّن في أمر اللَّه أو (ليسومنكم) (٥) أقوامًا يعذبونكم ويعذبهم اللَّه (٦).
It is narrated from Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: O people of Kufa, you must certainly enjoin good and forbid evil, otherwise you will encounter the command of Allah, or Allah will impose upon you such nations who will punish you, and Allah will punish them.
