Hadith 40362
٤٠٣٦٢ - حدثنا وكيع قال: (حدثنا) (١) كثير بن زيد عن المطلب بن عبد اللَّه بن حنطب قال: قال: ما أتخوف عليكم أحد رجلين: مؤمن قد استبان إيمانه، وكافر قد تبين كفره، ولكن (أتخوف) (٢) عليكم متعوذا بالإيمان يعمل (بغيره) (٣).
It is narrated from Hazrat Mutlib bin Abdullah bin Hantab that he said: I do not fear for either of two men—one, a believer whose faith is evident, and the other, a disbeliever whose disbelief is evident. But I fear for you regarding that person who seeks refuge through faith yet acts contrary to Islam.
