Hadith 40358
٤٠٣٥٨ - حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن جابر عن عامر قال: سئل حذيفة: أي الفتنة أشد؟ قال: أن يعرض عليك الخير والشر لا تدري أيهما تتبع (١).
It is narrated from Hazrat Aamir that he said: Hazrat Hudhaifah (may Allah be pleased with him) was asked, "Which trial is the most severe?" He replied, "Good and evil will be presented before you, and you will not know which of the two to follow."
