Hadith 40277
٤٠٢٧٧ - حدثنا ابن نمير قال: حدثنا أبو (يعفور) (١) قال: سمعت أبا عمرو ⦗٣٣٦⦘ الشيباني يقول: (كنت عند حذيفة (جالسًا)) (٢) (٣) (إذ) (٤) جاء أعرابي حتى جثا بين يديه فقال: أخرج الدجال؟ فقال له حذيفة: وما الدجال؟ إن ما (٥) دون الدجال أخوفُ من الدجال، إنما (فتنته) (٦) (أربعون) (٧) (ليلة) (٨) (٩).
Hazrat Abu Amr Shaibani narrates: I was sitting with Hazrat Hudhaifa (may Allah be pleased with him) when a Bedouin came, sat down on his knees in front of him, and said, "Has the Dajjal appeared?" Hazrat Hudhaifa (may Allah be pleased with him) said to him, "What is the Dajjal? Indeed, I fear more the things that will come before the Dajjal than the Dajjal himself. Indeed, his trial will last for forty nights."
