Hadith 40263
٤٠٢٦٣ - حدثنا أسود بن عامر قال: حدثنا حماد بن سلمة عن خالد عن عبد اللَّه بن (شقيق) (١) عن عبد اللَّه بن سراقة عن أبي عبيدة قال: سمعت (رسول اللَّه) (٢) ﷺ يقول: "إنه لم يكن نبي بعد نوح إلا وقد أنذر قومه الدجال، وإني ⦗٣٢٦⦘ أنذركموه"، وصفه لنا رسول اللَّه ﷺ وقال: "سيدركه بعض من رآني، أو سمع كلامي"، قالوا: يا رسول اللَّه، كيف قلوبنا يومئذ؟ (أمثلها) (٣) اليوم؟ قال: (أو (خيرًا) (٤) " (٥).
It is narrated from Abu Ubaidah that he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: After Prophet Noah, every prophet warned his people about the Dajjal. And indeed, I am warning you about him. (The narrator says) The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) described him to us and said: Soon, he will be encountered by the one who has seen me, or he said: the one who has heard my words. The companions asked: How will our hearts be at that time? Will they be like they are today? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: They will be better than today.
