Hadith 40238
٤٠٢٣٨ - (حدثنا) (١) ابن علية عن أيوب قال: قال لي الحسن: ألا تعجب من سعيد بن جبير دخل علي فسألني عن قتال الحجاج ومعه بعض الرؤساء -يعني أصحاب ابن الأشعث.
It is narrated from Ayyub that he said: Hasan said to me, "Are you not amazed at the courage of Sa'id bin Jubayr? He came to me and asked me about the battle with Hajjaj, and there were some leaders with him as well." By leaders, he meant the companions of Ibn al-Ash'ath.
