Hadith 40224
٤٠٢٢٤ - حدثنا مالك بن إسماعيل عن شريك عن عثمان بن أبي زرعة عن صالح عن علي قال: لا تزرعوا معي في السواد، فإنكم إن تزرعوا تقتتلوا على (مائه) (١) بالسيوف، وإنكم إن تقتتلوا تكفروا (٢).
It is narrated from Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: Do not engage in farming with me near populated areas, because if you take up farming, you will fight over its water with swords, and if you start fighting, you will adopt disbelief.
