Hadith 40215
٤٠٢١٥ - حدثنا عبد (الرحمن) (١) بن محمد المحاربي عن ليث عن (عون) (٢) (ابن) (٣) أبي جحيفة عن عبد الرحمن عن ابن عمر قال: قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "أيعجز أحدكم إذا أتاه الرجل يقتله -يعني من أهل كذا- أن يقول هكذا -وقال بإحدى يديه على الأخرى- فيكون كالخير من ابني آدم، وإذا هو في ⦗٣١٠⦘ الجنة وإذا قاتله في النار" (٤).
It is narrated from Abdullah bin Umar that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Is any one of you incapable, when someone comes to kill him, meaning that someone among certain people says that he should do so, and he gestured with one hand towards the other hand, then he will become like the best of the children of Adam, and that person will be in Paradise and his killer will be in Hell.
