Hadith 40205
٤٠٢٠٥ - حدثنا وكيع (١) قال: حدثنا موسى بن قيس عن سلمة بن كهيل عن زيد بن وهب قال: لما رجعنا من النهروان قال علي: لقد شهدنا قوم باليمن، قلنا: يا أمير المؤمنين كيف ذاك؟ قال: (بالهوى) (٢) (٣).
It is narrated from Hazrat Zaid bin Wahb that it was said: When we returned from Nahrawan, Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said: There were some people from Yemen who participated with us. We asked: What was the manner of their participation, etc.? He said: It was (due to) desire of the self.
