Hadith 40170
٤٠١٧٠ - حدثنا وكيع عن عبيد بن طفيل (أبي سيدان) (١) عن ربعي بن حراش قال: قال حذيفة: لتركبن سنة بني إسرائيل حذو النعل بالنعل، والقذة ⦗٢٩٤⦘ بالقذة، غير إني لا أدري (تعبدون) (٢) العجل أم لا (٣).
It is narrated from Hazrat Hudhaifah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: Surely, you will follow the ways of the Children of Israel exactly like the shoe matches the shoe, and the arrow matches the arrow. But I do not know whether you will worship the calf or not.
