Hadith 40149
٤٠١٤٩ - حدثنا يعلى بن عبيد عن موسى الجهني عن صالح بن أربد النخعي قال: قالت أم سلمة: دخل الحسين على النبي ﷺ وأنا جالسة على الباب، فتطلعت فرأيت في كف النبي ﷺ شيئًا يقلبه وهو نائم على بطنه، فقلت: يا رسول اللَّه! تطلعت فرأيتك تقلب شيئا في كفك، والصبي نائم على بطنك وفى موعك تسيل، فقال: "إن جبريل أتاني بالتربة التي يقتل عليها، وأخبرني أن أمتي يقتلونه" (١).
It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Salamah that she said: Hazrat Husain came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and I was sitting by the door. I observed and saw that there was something in the palm of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) which he was turning over, and Hazrat Husain was lying asleep on his stomach. I said, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), I observed and saw that you are turning something over in your palm and the child is sleeping on your stomach, and your tears are flowing." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Indeed, Jibreel came to me with the soil from the place where he will be martyred. He informed me that my Ummah will kill him."
