Hadith 40118
٤٠١١٨ - حدثنا أبو أسامة قال: حدثنا هشام عن أبيه (أن) (١) أهل الشام كانوا يقاتلون ابن الزبير ويصيحون به: يا ابن ذات النطاقين (فقال) (٢) ابن الزبير: تلك (شكاة) (٣) ظاهر عنك عارها قالت أسماء: عيروك به قال: نعم قالت: فهو واللَّه (أحق) (٤) (٥).
It is narrated from Hazrat Urwah that the people of Syria used to fight against Hazrat Ibn Zubair and would shout at him, saying, "O son of the possessor of the two belts!" Hazrat Ibn Zubair would recite, "This is a fault, the disgrace of which is evident upon you." Hazrat Asma said, "Do they reproach you for this?" Hazrat Ibn Zubair replied, "Yes." She said, "By Allah, it is the truth."
