Hadith 40111
٤٠١١١ - حدثنا ابن عيينة عن منصور بن صفية عن أمه قالت: دخل ابن عمر المسجد وابن الزبير مصلوب، فقالوا له: هذه أسماء، فأتاها وذكرها ووعظها وقال: إن الجثة ليست بشيء، وإن الأرواح عند اللَّه فاصبري واحتسبي، فقالت: وما يمنعني من الصبر وقد أُهدي رأس يحيى بن زكريا إلى بغي من بغايا بني إسرائيل؟ (١).
It is narrated from Hazrat Safiyyah that she said: Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) entered the mosque and Hazrat Abdullah bin Zubair had been crucified. He said: This is Asma. Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) came to her and advised her and spoke to her about reform, and said: The body is nothing, and the souls are with Allah Almighty, so be patient and seek reward. Hazrat Asma said: And what can prevent me from being patient, when the head of Hazrat Yahya bin Zakariya was given to a prostitute among the women of Bani Israel?
