Hadith 40079
٤٠٠٧٩ - حدثنا يزيد بن هارون قال: أخبرنا هشام عن الحسن عن ضبة بن محصن عن أم سلمة قالت: قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "إنها ستكون (أمراء) (١) (تعرفون ⦗٢٥٥⦘ وتنكرون) (٢)، فمن أنكر فقد برئ، ومن كره فقد سلم، ولكن من رضي (وتابع) (٣) "، قالوا: يا رسول اللَّه أفلا نقاتلهم؟ قال: "لا، ما صلوا" (٤).
It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Salamah that she said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Soon there will be rulers over you; you will enjoin good upon them and forbid them from evil. Whoever rejects (their evil) will be absolved, and whoever dislikes (their evil) will also be safe. But the one who is pleased with it and follows them (will not be absolved). The companions said: O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), should we not fight against them? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: No, as long as they establish the prayer.
