Hadith 40063
٤٠٠٦٣ - حدثنا أبو أسامة عن (سعيد) (١) قال: حدثنا (٢) قتادة عن أنس قال: سمعت رسول اللَّه ﷺ يقول -ولا يحدثكم بعدي أحد أنه سمع رسول اللَّه ﷺ يقول: "إن من أشراط الساعة أن يرفع العلم، ويظهر الجهل، وأن تشرب الخمر، ويظهر (الزنا) (٣)، ويقل الرجال، ويكثر النساء" (٤).
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas that he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say, and after me, no one among you will narrate that he heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: Indeed, among the signs of the Day of Judgment is that knowledge will be taken away, ignorance will become apparent, wine will be consumed, and adultery will become widespread. Men will decrease and women will increase in number.
