Hadith 40061
٤٠٠٦١ - حدثنا عبد الأعلى عن معمر عن الزهري عن سعيد عن أبي هريرة عن النبي ﷺ قال: "يتقارب الزمان وينقص العلم ويلقى الشح وتظهر الفتن ويكثر الهرج"، قالوا: يا رسول اللَّه! ما الهرج؟ قال: "القتل" (١).
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The time will draw near, knowledge will decrease, miserliness will be cast (into the hearts), tribulations will appear, and 'harj' will increase greatly." The companions asked, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), what is 'harj'?" He replied, "Killing."
