Hadith 40054
٤٠٠٥٤ - حدثنا خالد بن مخلد قال: حدثنا علي بن صالح عن أبيه عن سعيد بن عمرو عن أبي حكيم مولى محمد بن أسامة عن النبي ﷺ قال: "كيف أنتم إذا لم يُجبَ لكم دينار ولا درهم؟ " قالوا: ومتى يكون ذلك؟ قال: "إذا نقضتم العهد شدد اللَّه قلوب العدو عليكم فامتنعوا منكم" (١).
Hazrat Abu Hakim, who is the freed slave of Muhammad bin Usama, narrates from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said: "What will be your condition when neither dinar nor dirham will be obligatory for you?" The noble companions (may Allah be pleased with them) asked, "When will this happen?" He replied, "When you break your covenant, Allah will harden your hearts against you, thus they will withhold from you."
