Hadith 40050
٤٠٠٥٠ - حدثنا أبو أسامة قال: حدثنا ابن عون عن ابن سيرين قال: كان محمد ابن أبي حذيفة مع كعب في سفينة فقال لكعب ذات يوم: يا كعب! أتجد هذه في التوراة كيف تجري وكيف وكيف؟ فقال له كعب: لا تسخر من التوراة، فإنها كتاب اللَّه، (وإن ما) (١) فيها حق، قال: فعاد فقال له مثل ذلك، فعاد فقال له مثل ذلك ثم قال: (لا) (٢)، ولكن أجد فيها أن رجلًا من قريش أشط الناب، ينزو في الفتنة كما ينزو (الحمار) (٣) (في قيده) (٤) فاتق اللَّه ولا تكن أنت هو، قال محمد: فكان هو.
It is narrated from Hazrat Muhammad bin Sirin that he said: Hazrat Muhammad bin Abi Hudhaifah (may Allah be pleased with him) was on a boat with Hazrat Ka'b Ahbar. One day, Hazrat Muhammad bin Abi Hudhaifah (may Allah be pleased with him) said to Hazrat Ka'b, "O Ka'b, do we find in the Torah anything about this (i.e., the boat), how it moves and how and how?" Ka'b Ahbar replied, "Do not joke about the Torah; it is the Book of Allah, and what is in it is the truth." The narrator says that Hazrat Muhammad bin Abi Hudhaifah (may Allah be pleased with him) repeated the question, and Hazrat Ka'b replied in the same way. Then he repeated the matter again, and Hazrat Ka'b said the same to him, "No, but I do find in it that surely there will be a man among the Quraysh with an extra sharp tooth; he will plunge into turmoil as a donkey plunges into its rope. So fear Allah, and do not be that man." Muhammad bin Sirin, the narrator, says: He was that very man.
