Hadith 40032
٤٠٠٣٢ - حدثنا معاوية بن هشام قال: حدثنا سفيان عن عاصم عن أبي مجلز قال: قال رجل: يا آل بني تميم، (فحرمهم) (١) عمر بن الخطاب (عطاءهم) (٢) سنة، ثم (أعطاهم) (٣) إياه من العام المقبل (٤).
Hazrat Abu Majliz narrates that a man called out, "O people of Banu Tamim!" (uttering a call of ignorance), so Hazrat Umar deprived the people of that tribe of their stipend for one year, then the next year he granted them the stipend.
