Hadith 39997
٣٩٩٩٧ - حدثنا ابن عيينة عن الزهري عن عروة عن زينب بنت أبي سلمة عن (حبيبة) (١) عن أم حبيبة عن زينب بنت جحش أنها قالت: استيقظ رسول اللَّه ﷺ من نومه محمرًا وجهه، وهو يقول: "لا إله إلا اللَّه، ويل للعرب من شر قد اقترب، فتح اليوم من ردم يأجوج ومأجوج"، وعقد بيده -يعني عشرة- قالت زينب: قلت: يا رسول اللَّه أنهلك وفينا الصالحون؟ قال: "نعم، إذا ظهر الخبث" (٢).
It is narrated from Hazrat Zainab bint Jahsh that she said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) woke up from his sleep with his face red and was saying, "There is no god but Allah. Woe to the Arabs from the evil that has drawn near. Today, a hole has been opened in the wall of Gog and Magog," and he made a circle with his fingers, showing the number ten by placing the edge of the finger next to the thumb in the middle of the bend of the right thumb. Hazrat Zainab said: I asked, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), can we be destroyed while there are righteous people among us?" He replied, "Yes, when wickedness becomes widespread."
