Hadith 39977
٣٩٩٧٧ - حدثنا أبو أسامة عن زائدة عن الأعمش عن أبي سفيان عن عبيد بن عمير قال: خرج رسول اللَّه ﷺ (إلى) (١) أهل الحجرات فقال: " (يا أهل الحجرات) (٢) سعرت النار وجاءت الفتن كأنها قطع الليل المظلم، لو تعلمون ما أعلم لضحكتم قليلا ولبكيتم كثيرًا" (٣).
It is narrated from Hazrat Ubaid bin Umair that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came out towards those who were staying in the chambers and said: O people staying in the chambers! The fire of Hell will be kindled and tribulations will come like pieces of a dark night. If you knew what I know, you would laugh little and weep much.
