Hadith 39961
٣٩٩٦١ - حدثنا علي بن مسهر، عن المختار بن فلفل، عن أنس بن مالك قال: قال لي رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "الكوثر نهر وعدني ربي، عليه خير كثير، هو حوضي ترد عليه أمتي يوم القيامة، آنيته عدد النجوم، فيُختلج العبد منهم فأقول: رب، إنه من أمتي، فيقول: لا تدري ما أحدث بعدك" (١).
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me: "Kawthar is a river which Allah Almighty has promised me. There is abundant goodness upon it. It is my pond upon which my Ummah will come on the Day of Resurrection. Its vessels are as numerous as the stars. Some people from among them (i.e., from my Ummah) will be prevented from it. I will say, 'O my Lord, these are from my Ummah.' Then it will be said by Allah, 'You do not know what innovations they introduced (in religion) after you.'"
