Hadith 39959
٣٩٩٥٩ - حدثنا غندر عن شعبة عن علي بن مدرك قال: سمعت أبا زرعة بن عمرو بن جرير يحدث (عن جرير) (١) أن رسول اللَّه ﷺ قال في حجة الوداع: ⦗٢١٧⦘ "استنصت الناس"، وقال: "لا ترجعوا بعدي كفارا يضرب بعضكم رقاب بعض" (٢).
It is narrated from Hazrat Jarir that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said on the occasion of the Farewell Pilgrimage: Make the people quiet, and he said: Do not turn back to disbelief after me, striking the necks of one another.
