Hadith 39946
٣٩٩٤٦ - حدثنا وكيع عن عبد المجيد (١) أبي عمرو قال: سمعت العداء بن خالد ابن هوذة قال: حججت مع النبي ﷺ حجة الوداع، فرأيت النبي ﷺ قائمًا في الركابين وهو يقول: "تدرون: أي شهر هذا؟ أي بلد هذا؟ قال: فإن دماءكم وأموالكم عليكم حرام كحرمة يومكم (هذا) (٢) في شهركم هذا في بلدكم هذا، هل بلغت؟ " قالوا: نعم قال: "اللهم اشهد" (٣).
Hazrat Ada bin Khalid bin Huzah says: I performed Hajj with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) on the occasion of the Farewell Pilgrimage. I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) standing in the stirrups (of the camel) and saying: Do you know what month this is? What city this is? (Then) he said: Indeed, your blood and your wealth are forbidden to one another, just as the sanctity of this day of yours, just as the sanctity of this month of yours, just as the sanctity of this city of yours. Have I conveyed (the message)? The Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) replied: Yes. He said: O Allah, bear witness.
