Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Abdullah bin Aamir narrates that when people divided into groups regarding criticism of Hazrat Usman, my father stood up, performed the night prayer, and then went to sleep. He says that he was told, "Stand up and ask Allah to grant you refuge from this tribulation, from which He granted refuge to the righteous." The narrator says that then he stood up and became ill, and after that he was not seen outside the house until he passed away.
