Hadith 39933
٣٩٩٣٣ - حدثنا أبو خالد الأحمر عن حميد عن أبي (المتوكل) (١) (الناجي) (٢) عن أبي سعيد الخدري قال: إياكم وقتالُ عمية، وميتة جاهلية، قال: قلت: ما قتال عمية؟ قال: إذا قيل: يا لفلان يا بني فلان، قال: قلت: ما ميتة جاهلية؟ قال: أن تموت ولا إمام عليك (٣).
Hazrat Abu Al-Mutawakkil Al-Naji narrates from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri, who said: Beware of blind fighting and the death of ignorance. The narrator says: I asked, "What is blind fighting?" He replied: When there is a call, "O so-and-so, O son of so-and-so." The narrator says: I asked, "What is meant by the death of ignorance?" He replied: That death comes to you in such a state that there is no Imam appointed over you.
