Hadith 39916
٣٩٩١٦ - حدثنا أبو أسامة عن سليمان بن المغيرة قال: قال: حميد حدثنا نصر ابن عاصم قال: حدثنا اليشكري قال: سمعت حذيفة يقول: قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "فتنة عمياء صماء عليها دعاة على أبواب النار، فإن (تموت) (١) يا حذيفة وأنت عاض على (جذل) (٢) خير لك من أن تتبع أحدا منهم" (٣).
Hazrat Yashkari narrates that I heard Hazrat Hudhaifa (may Allah be pleased with him) saying that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There will be a blind and deaf tribulation, whose callers will be calling towards the doors of Hell. O Hudhaifa (may Allah be pleased with him)! It is better for you to die in a state where you are eating the root of a tree than to follow any one of them."
