Hazrat Abdullah bin Amr narrates: We were around the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) when he mentioned tribulations, or it was mentioned to him. He says: The Prophet said, "When you see that people's promises are being broken and trusts are being taken lightly, and it becomes like this," and he interlaced his fingers. The narrator says: I stood up towards him and said, "What should I do at that time? May Allah sacrifice me for you." He said: "Adhere to your house, restrain your tongue, take what you know, and leave what you do not know, and it is obligatory upon you to focus on your own self and leave the affairs of the general people."
