Hadith 39893
٣٩٨٩٣ - حدثنا وكيع قال: حدثنا الأعمش عن زيد بن وهب عن عبد الرحمن ابن عبد رب الكعبة عن عبد اللَّه بن (عمرو) (١) عن النبي ﷺ بمثله إلا أن وكيعا قال: "وسيصيب آخرها بلاء وفتن (يوافق) (٢) بعضها بعضا"، وقال: "من أحب أن يزحزح عن النار ويدخل الجنة فلتدركه منيته" -ثم ذكر مثله (٣).
Abdullah bin Amr narrates from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) a narration similar to the above (mentioned narration), but Waki’ narrated it as follows: And soon the latter part of this Ummah will be afflicted with calamities and tribulations, in which they will weaken one another. And the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Whoever wishes that he be saved from the Fire and admitted to Paradise, then let death come to him... Then Waki’ narrated the rest of the narration similar to the one above.
