Hadith 39871
٣٩٨٧١ - حدثنا أبو أسامة عن صدقة بن أبي عمران قال: (حدثنا) (١) أبو اليعفور عن أبي سعيد مولى عبد اللَّه بن مسعود قال: قال عبد اللَّه بن مسعود: (واللَّه) (٢) لئن (قتلتم) (٣) عثمان لا تصيبون منه خلفا (٤).
It is narrated from Abu Saeed, the freed slave of Hazrat Abdullah bin Masood (may Allah be pleased with him), that Hazrat Abdullah bin Masood (may Allah be pleased with him) said: By Allah! If you kill Uthman, after him you will not find any rightful successor.
