ما جاء في خلافة عمر بن الخطاب ﵁Hadiths Regarding the Caliphate of Umar ibn Khattab (رضی اللہ عنہ)
Hadith 39841
٣٩٨٤١ - حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن أبي إسحاق عن أبي (الأحوص) (١) عن ⦗١٥٣⦘ عبد اللَّه قال: أفرس الناس ثلاثة: أبو بكر حين تفرس في عمر فاستخلفه، والتي قالت: ﴿اسْتَأْجِرْهُ إِنَّ خَيْرَ مَنِ اسْتَأْجَرْتَ الْقَوِيُّ (الْأَمِينُ) (٢)﴾ [القصص: ٢٦] والعزيز حين قال: لامرأته: ﴿أَكْرِمِي مَثْوَاهُ﴾ [يوسف: ٢١] (٣).
It is narrated from Hazrat Abdullah that among all people, the three most discerning individuals were: Hazrat Abu Bakr, when he showed insight regarding Hazrat Umar and appointed him as caliph; and (secondly) the woman who said, { اسْتَأْجِرْہُ ، إِنَّ خَیْرَ مَنِ اسْتَأْجَرْتَ الْقَوِیُّ الأَمِینُ }; and (thirdly) the Aziz of Egypt when he said to his wife, { أَکْرِمِی مَثْوَاہُ }.
