ما جاء في (وفاة) النبي ﷺHadiths Regarding the Death of the Prophet (ﷺ)
Hadith 39823
٣٩٨٢٣ - حدثنا خالد بن مخلد (حدثنا) (١) سليمان بن بلال قال: حدثني عبد الرحمن بن حرملة قال: سمعت سعيد بن المسيب قال: لما توفي رسول اللَّه ﷺ وضع على سريره، فكان الناس يدخلون (عليه) (٢) زمرا (زمرا) (٣) يصلون ⦗١٣٨⦘ عليه ويخرجون ولم يؤمهم أحد، وتوفي يوم (الاثنين) (٤) ودفن يوم الثلاثاء ﷺ (٥) (٦).
Hazrat Saeed bin Musayyib narrates that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) passed away, he was placed on a bier. People would enter the chamber of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in groups and offer funeral prayer over him and then leave, but no one led them in prayer. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed away on Monday and was buried on Tuesday.
