Hadith 39750
٣٩٧٥٠ - حدثنا يزيد بن هارون قال: (أخبرنا) (١) إسماعيل بن أبي خالد عن قيس بن أبي حازم قال: جاء أسامة بن زيد بعد قتل أبيه، فقام بين يدي النبي ﷺ فدمعت عيناه، فلما كان من الغد جاء فقام مقامه ذلك، فقال النبي ﷺ: " (ألاقي) (٢) منك اليوم ما لقيت منك أمس" (٣).
It is narrated from Hazrat Qais bin Abi Hazim that Hazrat Usama came after the killing of his father, so the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) stood up before him (to receive him), and the eyes of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) filled with tears. Then, when the next day came and Hazrat Usama came again and you stood in the same place, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Should I receive you today in the same way as I received you yesterday?"
