Hadith 39741
٣٩٧٤١ - حدثنا عبد الرحيم بن سليمان عن زكريا عن الشعبي زعم أن جعفر ابن أبي طالب قتل (يوم) (١) مؤتة بالبلقاء فقال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "اللهم اخلف جعفرًا في أهله بأفضل ما خلفت عبدا من عبادك الصالحين" (٢).
Hazrat Sha'bi narrates that when Hazrat Ja'far bin Abi Talib was martyred at the place of Balqa in the Battle of Mu'tah, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed: "O Allah! Grant Ja'far's household the best successor of Ja'far, as You grant to any of Your righteous servants."
