Hadith 3968
٣٩٦٨ - حدثنا أبو أسامة عن (عوف) (١) عن محمد قال: من قرأ وهو قاعد (فإنه ⦗٣٦١⦘ يركع ويسجد وهو قاعد) (٢)، ومن قرأ وهو قائم فإنه يركع ويسجد وهو قائم. وقال الحسن: هو بالخيار أيَّ ذلك (شاء) (٣) فعل.
Muhammad says that whoever recites (Qira'at) while sitting should also perform bowing (Ruku') and prostration (Sajda) while sitting, and whoever recites while standing should also perform bowing and prostration while standing. Hasan says that he has the choice to do as he wishes.
